We had another of Haley’s friend’s birthday parties this month – our neighbor, Lauren turned 3. Sean took Haley since I was at work. But he said it was lots of fun and Haley loved it.

We had our 20 week ultrasound and everything looks great. Baby is measuring right on schedule and had 2 arms and 2 legs 🙂 The actual pregnancy is going well so far too. I started feeling the baby move around 17.5 weeks along, so that has been fun. And this month, Sean has been able to start feeling ‘him’ move too.

We had Sean’s work holiday party. As always, it was a good time. Although being DD is not as fun as partaking in all the festivities 😉 Oh, and we started off that day with a yard sale, so I was a little tired! But we made a little over $100 and got rid of a lot of stuff, so it was all worth it. It’s been a little challenging making room for this new baby!

We went to the Lowry Park Zoo Winter Wonderland. It was fun, but Haley probably didn’t get as much out of it as I would have liked 😉 Maybe we’ll try again next year. I think her favorite part was the bounce house!

We had GG, Opa, & Uncle Nic stay with us for Christmas. Haley really enjoyed all the family time (and so did we!). On Christmas Eve Sean’s grandparents and aunt came over and we all had dinner – Sean fried a turkey again. It is so delicious that way! Then we all wen to Mass. Haley was really good and even got to go up front and sit to listen to a story – Mommy went too 🙂 That evening ‘Santa’ put together Haley’s new kitchen toy and Haley left out milk and homemade cookies for the big guy.

Christmas morning we had breakfast, opened stockings, and Haley got to see her gift from Santa. I think she was a little overwhelmed and didn’t really know what to think at first. But she got into it and made us food later on! We had N. Papa, Omi, and Aunt Rita back over that afternoon for Christmas dinner and more presents – so that was fun. I think we all had a great time and spending time with family was the best part. Haley did really well – she was tired and overwhelmed, but was still very good.

On Friday night, Sean and I had a date night while GG and Opa watched Haley. It was really great to get out, just the 2 of us.

On Saturday, everyone headed out – including us! We went up to see Gammy & Granddad at their Riverhouse. We had more Christmas while we were there! And we of course took a nice boat ride – which we all love to do. Once again, family time was most cherished!

We came home Monday and we spent New Year’s Eve evening with some friends. Sean and I watched some movies that night and then of course, watched the ball drop 🙂 Welcome 2014 – it’s going to be a great and interesting year! And thanks to 2013 – it was a wonderful year!!

Baby is the size of a banana (20 weeks), a pomegranate (21 weeks), a papaya (22 weeks), a grapefruit (23 weeks), and a cantaloupe (24 weeks)!

Baby is about 10.5 inches long & 12.7 onces in weight at the end of December!
