So Haley got a small case of the chicken pox after her 15 month immunizations on the 30th last month. The Dr warned us this could happen, so luckily I didn’t freak out! She got a few pox but they didn’t seem to itch or bother her so it wasn’t too big a deal. I just kept her away from smaller kids for a few days and all was well.

My mom stayed for a few days to help me recover from my back ‘issues’ and it was fun having her here for a bit. When she comes to watch Haley while we’re at work I don’t really get to spend any time with her myself, so it was nice to hang out a little (even though I was in some pain at the time!). I don’t know what we would do without family we can count on! I thank God for both of our families.

On the 11th we had a yard sale – it was pretty good. We made a little money and got rid of some things. Now we just have to get rid of everything else we had to sell that didn’t! My parents also left on the 11th for their 35th anniversary trip overseas! So excited for them!!!

On Mother’s Day we took a trip to the beach (Honeymoon Island dog beach). This was after a yummy breakfast made by my baby and baby-daddy 🙂 Haley loved the beach so much – actually, I should say she loved the water so much! We couldn’t keep her out of it. She wouldn’t even stay out long enough to eat or drink – the only we could get her to eat was watermelon! But she had a ball! And it was fun watching her and playing with her in the water. I can’t wait for her to have some swimming lessons!  I had a wonderful 2nd Mother’s Day!  Thanks, Sean & Haley!!

We went to the zoo again once this month and it was great as always. And my cousin/Godson graduated from High School so we had some celebrating to do! I just can’t believe he’s going off to college! I mean – I can believe it because he’s so super smart, but I just can’t believe he’s old enough. Time really goes by quickly.

On May 20th Haley started her next big thing – climbing! I can’t believe how lucky we’ve been thus far. All of a sudden she just started climbing onto chairs and whatever else she could reach! So far she hasn’t figured the couch out, but I’m sure it’s coming soon!

We went to the splash park one day, a party at our friend’s lakehouse another, and met a new friend at a park in Dunedin by the marina. What a fun month 🙂

The 31st Sean’s parents (Haley’s GG and Opa) came down to watch Haley while Sean and I had a fun anniversary weekend. Our anniversary is actually on June 6th, but we celebrated a little early. They got here early on Friday and then we all went out to dinner. Later after Haley was in bed, Sean and I went to the movies and saw ‘Iron Man 3’. We both really liked it. Definitely glad I saw it in the theater. Saturday the 1st, Sean and I went kayaking (for the first time since maybe before Haley!) and it was great. The weather was a little iffy, but the clouds made it not so hot and it was really perfect. Afterwards we had lunch out and then went back home to take a bath (me!) and a nap (Sean!). That night we went to the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner and then saw ‘Star-trek’. Sunday we all got up and met Sean’s aunt for breakfast. Then we had massages 🙂 After Haley went down for her nap Sean’s parents left. It was so great that they were able to come and watch Haley so that we could have some couple time together. And we didn’t have to worry about Haley because we knew she was in good hands 🙂

Okay, well that actually took us into June 🙂 More next month! Haley starts swim class on the 3rd!!
