Well, the blog is official now… a little scary, but fun too! A lot of people have looked at it and that’s pretty cool. Anyway, seventeen weeks and going strong. I already wrote about the Dr. appointment – that went well! Our next one is in four weeks and we’ll be getting an ultrasound and some more blood work (surprise, surprise). I definitely feel like I’m showing more now – and in fact, today Sean told me that today was the first day he could really tell by looking at me that I’m pregnant. That made me feel good There’s someone else who thinks I look pregnant (other than my mom, who keeps saying that I’ve looked pregnant since we told them we were pregnant)! Yay
Still to the average, unknown person I know I just look a little pudgy- but that’s fine by me.
So, I’m pretty sure I felt the baby moving today. When I was waking up and laying still I felt a little ‘pop’. So, then I decided to pester the little guy/gal and poke around my tummy. Well, after that I got 3 little nudges that I’m pretty sure was the kid saying, “Hey, stop poking me in the head, I was sleeping in here!” So, that was pretty awesome.
Oh- the budget! We worked on that today – it was not that much fun, but it really wasn’t that bad either. At least we did it together And the good news is that it looks like we’re not going to have to move into a shack and use an outhouse. So, that’s pretty awesome.
Movies we saw this weekend:
‘Your Highness’ – not really that great. Kind of funny, but not a must see at all. In fact, save your rental fee or just choose a different movie from netflix.
‘Source code’ – not really all that great either. A little interesting, but also kind of annoying in the ‘Groundhog Day’ way.
‘Hanna’ – pretty good. I would recommend. But only if you like action and aren’t bothered by a lot of death and blood and stuff. But, yes – it was good.
’27 Dress’ – old, but it was on TV and it’s really funny! Great movie! Predictable, but funny!
Well, that’s about it for now. More later!
Our little one is about 5 inches long now (head to rump) and weighs about 5 oz (weighs about the same as a turnip!)
